I am a documentary and travel photographer focused on raw, human moments.
My work explores everyday life in places that are often misunderstood, restricted or rarely seen. I photograph quietly and without interference, aiming to capture reality as it unfolds.
Through people, light and atmosphere, I look for images that reveal both dignity and complexity.
Alongside photography, I work as an inspector in healthcare for the Dutch Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ), part of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. My work involves looking closely at how healthcare is delivered in practice, with a focus on quality, safety and the people behind the systems.
Perhaps these two worlds are not as far apart as they might seem. Both require curiosity, observation and the ability to look beyond the surface. In both, I am interested in people, their circumstances and the reality behind what we see.
Based in the Netherlands, working internationally.
